Here’s to unending laughs and ceaseless stories, to sleepless nights and late night conversations, to  gazing the skies and catching falling stars, to new discoveries and new perspectives, to the priceless gift of love and comfort, to golden memories, and to new found friends. It was just one weekend, but we had a million memories to keep.
Yep, it was one freaking weekend where our world is away from our laptops and office papers: from our meetings and appointments, from our responsibilities. It is our time to let go of our hustle and bustle life and live life to the fullest. Well, we deserve it. Thankfully, we have Borawan Escapade with us.

Camping was really not my thing. But what happened that weekend was an exception. It was pure happiness and unforgettable experience. All the laughs, the endless conversations, the golden memories, and the beauty of nature are totally priceless. We absolutely don’t regret gambling our weekend on this adventure. We had so much fun that we were able to forget the world for a while. Every minute was worth it- and if you would ask us, we will repeat that adventure over and over again. Good job, Borawan Escapade for hosting us well!

Borawan Island

Among the 4 islands, Borawan Island is the most popular and established one. It was associated with Boracay and Palawan, since it was once known for its Boracay’s white sand and Palawan’s limestone. The island was definitely a paradise. Though, don’t get your hopes up comparing it to Boracay and Palawan, since of course, the latter is better. However, this place is a great alternative for those who can’t afford to go beyond the seas to see Boracay/ Palawan.

Personally, I love how charming the seascape is! The sand is comforting, the water is exhilarating, the air breeze is de-stressing and the view: ahhhhhh, I was speechless. It was astonishing!
Just a tip: if you’re just doing a day tour in this island, I recommend you to not avail their cottages anymore (ang mahal po bes.) You can place your stuff anywhere dry and safe in the island

Dampalitan Island

SYEP0836.jpg
After spending the day in Borawan Island, we proceeded to Dampalitan, our camping site. Believe me, our jaw literally dropped as we saw the unspoiled beauty of this island- truly a para-para-paradise! The quietness of the sea, the peacefulness of the breeze, the comfort of the sand, and the serenity of the pine trees welcomed us. Total tranquility- brb world, hello paradise.
The ambiance of this island makes it a perfect place to disconnect with everything and just purely enjoy the moment that you won’t find anywhere else. We were totally enveloped with peace and quiet, and that’s all we ever needed at that moment.

The sand of this island is not white as compared with Boracay and Palawan, as well as the clearness of its water. But what this island is superior at is its ability to be free and away from everything: crowd, pollution, noise, etc.

The place is also huge. Aside from getting your feet on the island’s powdery sand and cool waters, you can also explore the rock formations and be awed on how these was made by the God above. *See pictorial below lol*

After a day of exploring the island, it’s about time that we put ourselves in solitude and enjoy each other’s company. *Yeay for games and BONFIRE!!! *

Bilaran Sandbar

It’s a brand new day and we’re up to explore 2 more islands. We were excited! Bilaran Sandbar was first in our itinerary. It was a loooooong boat ride and don’t worry, you won’t get bored during the ride since scenic view of islands will amuse you. Once you arrive in the island, a pristine long stretch of premium white sand will welcome you. You wouldn’t help yourself but enjoy the magical prowess this island offers. The beauty is so surreal.

Kwebang Lampas

Down to our last island, and this time we decided to just see the overlooking view of the island, to avoid the entrance fee cost and save money. *Yep we’re that thrifty* So here are the shots I took overlooking the island.
If you got time and budget, I highly suggest that you visit this island as this is the most visited island among the three. Also, one unique thing about this place is that it has a small cave that you can explore.

What island is the best for your overnight camping?

Personally, I really prefer Dampalitan Island as your campsite since the island’s so peaceful and serene. The sand was also perfect for camping. Aside from the ambiance, the island also allows bonfire activities, unlike the other 3 islands, thus making the night more fun!
